1. Keep fat consumption under a strict control. Be sure that fat covers no more than 20-25% of your daily calorie intake. Keep away from saturated fats (try to avoid eating processed fats) and add to your diet some amounts of unsaturated fats (high quality sunflower, olive, canola, corn, hazelnut and other natural oils).
2. Eat 1-2 portions of legumes and grains every day, including various types of beans, barley, rye, brown ice and whole wheat products, and so on.
3. Eat 4-5 portions of fresh or boiled fruit and vegetables every day. This is one of the most important and the most effective ways to prevent cancer.
4. In particular, try to eat fresh tomatoes every day, because these veggies are excellent sources of lycopene, a key substance for cancer prevention.
5. Also, add to your daily diet lots of soy products, which are rich in such nutrients as lignan and isoflavone, essential for lowering the risks of developing many types of cancer.
6. Onions and garlic are other key natural foods for cancer prevention. They are great natural sources of quercetin, a flavonoid and a natural anticancerogen.
7. One of the essential ways to prevent cancer is eating the foods rich in fiber, like grains, fruit, veggies and others, so always go for fruits instead of drinking freshly squeezed juices.
8. Eat well cooked fish on a regular basis.Fish is not only rich in Omega 3 fatty acids, but also has great amounts of selenium and ceratin, which play an important role for cancer prevention.
9. Drinking 3-4 cups of green or black tea every day is among the easiest and more common ways to prevent cancer and slow down aging processes in the body.
10. No matter what, keep away from consuming burnt foods, as well as be careful about consuming the foods with too much chemicals and preservatives. Stay away from alcoholic drinks as well.

If you want to help prevent cancer one of the FIRST things i always recommend is to eat organically. There are any number of chemicals in the food we eat everyday that are linked to cancer. If you eat organic foods i guarantee that you will reduce your risk of cancer substantially!
