Winter is the time when we all tend to become a little slower, a little lazier and more melancholic. We have a very slight decline in our body functions as we receive less sunlight (Vitamin D) and fresh fruit and veggies (all important nutrients). In winter the outside temperature is lower than ever, that’s why sometimes we feel cold. As a result, our body starts storing some amounts of fat, and that is why in spring when we jump on the scale, very ofter we see that  we’ve got extra pounds.
