A group of experts from the University of Buffalo conducted an experiment involving 30 volunteers aged between 20 and 40. During the experiment, all of them were offered to have the same type of breakfast, including a healthy type of sandwich, an omelet and some boiled potato. At that, a group of the participants was asked to support their breakfast with a glass of soda, another group was asked to drink water for their breakfast, and the last group of the participants used freshly squeezed orange juice. During the experiment, the condition of the participants was thoroughly monitored: after each breakfast, in 1, 3 and 5 hours, the participants were taken blood samples. The levels of blood sugar and the levels of the immunity function supporting substances in the blood of the participants were the principal factors for the scientists to focus on while analyzing the data they managed to collect.

It turned out that those of the participants who used orange juice has demonstrated much better results as to glucose levels and other important blood test items. Therefore, the scientists recommend us using freshly squeezed 100 per cent organic orange juice for a healthy breakfast instead of other common breakfast beverages. At the same time, there are two important things to keep in mind for everyone who wants to benefit from orange juice in the morning. First of all, you should not use any usual commercially produced orange juice since it is filled up with unhealthy substances and is quite harmful to our health due to an increased content of sugars. Besides, it is a known fact that orange juice is considered dangerous for our dental health. Therefore, you’re highly encouraged to use a straw when consuming this health drink, at any time you feel like enjoying it!
