Nowadays, using natural materials and herbal remedies for skin care is a very common trend. Natural and homemade skin care solutions are healthy, safe and very convenient as they do not have unnecessary chemicals and ingredients which are used for prolonging shelf life of various commercial skin care products. Using natural exfoliants, natural astringents or natural cleansers for skin is easy, especially if you have a little information about the properties of natural materials which are good for your skin.
Many young ladies avoid using soap on facial skin because it causes too dry and dull skin. In such case, using various natural solutions for facial skin cleansing is a very good choice! In most situations, natural cleansers should be applied like face mask: they should be applied to warm moist skin, gently massaged with circular motions and rinsed well. There is a number of natural products which can play a role of natural cleansers for skin, including the following:
- Fresh milk. Small amounts of this natural cleanser can be applied to facial skin with a piece of cotton. You can leave milk to dry or remove it with warm water right away.
- Grapes. Cleansing effects of this natural remedy are complemented with anti-inflammatory properties and great natural power to promote skin health. Excellent source of antioxidants and Proanthocyanidins, grapes can make your skin look fresher, firmer and more elastic. Apply some mashed grape pulp on your skin like face mask.
Oatmeal. This natural cleanser for skin can remove dust and toxins and make your skin feel smooth. For receiving maximum effects, it is possible to mix ground or blended oatmeal with some milk or yogurt. Place the mixture on your face, massage gently and then rinse.
- Lavender oil. This effective natural cleanser for skin is quite strong, therefore, it should be mixed with warm water. Add 3-4 drops of lavender oil to 100-150 ml of water and rinse your face with this mixture. Your skin will be refreshed and disinfected in a great natural way.
- Rose water. This product can be good for any type of skin: dry, oily, normal or sensitive. Apply with a piece of cotton.
- Chamomile infusion. Rinsing your facial skin in chamomile infusion is a perfect natural solution to cleanse and relax your skin.
- A mixture of olive oil and coconut oil. This mixture should have 3 parts of coconut oil, 2 parts of warm water and 1 part of olive oil.
- A mixture of equal parts of yogurt, honey, milk and powdered almonds or ground sesame seeds. Apply like face mask.
- Fruit pulp. Mashed pulp of such fruit as avocado, banana, strawberries or cantaloupe can be used as facial skin cleansers.
- Mashed vegetables. Similarly, you can used mashed cucumber, tomato and squash pulp.
