The questions included information about the participants’ being smokers or not, as well as whether they eat quickly or eat slowly. The study included also measuring the participants’ BMA. According to the scientist, it involves interaction of numerous diabetes risk factors, with heredity, lifestyle, nutrition, and bad habits to be the key ones. ‘It’s important to identify modifiable diabetes risk factors that may help people reduce their chances of developing the disease,’ Radzeviciene said. These new findings were presented recently at the International Congress of Endocrinology and European Congress of Endocrinology in Florence, Italy. It is reported that these findings support the conclusions of some previous researches showing that eating fast is linked to consuming more calories and increased risks of obesity.
