Hot Weather In SummerSummer is the best time for many interesting and useful activities: swimming, jogging, picking flowers, fishing, traveling, playing golf and other various types of outdoor recreation. But sometimes summer weather turns into something unbearably hot and we can’t spend a day without heat exhaustion or being a little roasted. Below, you can find some tips on how to survive hot weather in summer.

1. Certainly, using fans, air conditioners and other cooling devices is a perfect solution for those many of us who spend their days indoors, in the offices, houses, markets, cabinets and so on. However, remember that setting your air conditioner system for too low temperature can cause not only a common cold, but other harmful effects on your body due to a considerable temperature difference between the inside and outside. Do not go lower than 75-77F.

2. If you are bothered with direct sunlight, keep your blinds or curtains closed all day long. You’ll see that this can help your room not to get overheat.

3. Do not open your windows and try to ventilate the room in hot weather in summer. You’ll only let very hot air in and there will be no refreshment at all. Open the windows only before 8 a.m. and after 7 p.m.

4. How To Survive Hot WeatherYou know that we have to drink 2-3 liters of water a day, and in hot weather our thirst simply kills us sometimes. However, remember that drinking big amounts of water at once will increase sweating and thirst. Therefore, drink your water with small portions many times a day. Also, remember that mineral water with several drops of lemon juice is the best thirst quencher.

5. In hot weather in summer avoid consuming too spicy, fatty and salty foods as such foods make us feel thirsty very fast. Needless to say that eating more of fresh fruit and veggies will help you feel lighter and satisfy your needs for liquid in a natural way.

6. Avoid wearing clothes made from synthetic fabrics, even if those are light and transparent ones. Wear t-shirts, shorts, light trousers and skirts made from cotton and other natural fabrics.

7. If you are exposed to direct sun for long time, you need to know special rules how to survive sunlight. Use umbrellas to cover yourself up, use special protecting creams with a high SPF, avoid exposing opened areas of your skin to sunlight, splash yourself with water to cool down your body. What else can we do to survive hot weather, guys?
