Hi thanks for making this available. My father has brachardial arrythmia (heart beating <50). He was recommended pacemaker. However, I am hoping there might be other treatment or cure for this, especially natural home remedies/ herbs, etc. Are the ones you mentioned good for my father's type of slow heart beat? Will those work for him? Arrythmia, there are two kinds one, my father's type and the other is Trachardia which the heart beats faster. Therefore it is important to know which herbs are the right ones to work against slower heart beat. Need to be very cautious not to take herbs that might even slow the heart beat.

Carla, hi , For the month of Dec I have been stressed out with work, not getting enough sleep, and dealing with my teenage daughter. I am a single parent. I also do not eat right. A week ago I started having palpitaions especially when I lay down to sleep. Went to the doctor and he took an ekg and said I was having apc’s off the charts. He prescribed propranolol and recommended I see a cardiologist. The pills have not stopped the palpitations. Can I take something naturally to help with the apc’s?

Hey Carla,

I am being treated for supra ventricular tachycardia. The docs say my condition is a complication of having an enlarged heart all my life. The docs have me on verapimil er 360 mg, and lisinopril 5mg for hbp. My natural inclination is to be free of chemical treatments. My question is : what natural / herbal remedies are available to wean me off of the chemicals? I will coordinate any withdrawal with my docs. I will discuss the teas described above with my docs, so if there is any clinical evidence of substitutionality leading to reduction or elimination of the chemicals please let me know. Thanks

despite I feel a bit better, I think I’ll visit the doctor because as you’ve said, it could be serious.

I bought Lemon Balm as you recommended, and I think that could be the reason that I am feeling a bit better.

Thanks a lot for stopping by. I am very glad that I could help a little, but in your situation you should see a doctor, I guess. Arrhythmia can be a serious thing, and it is very important to keep it under control. Certainly, you can use Lemon Balm, it is one of the safest and most effective herbs, but just let a specialist examine you.

Hi.

I am a Spanish guy, so sorry for my bad written English.

The other day I took some Benzodiazepine as I was very hung over and wanted to relax.
The fact is that from that day ( 4 days ago ) I am having the sympthons related with arrythmia ( sometimes I feel that my heart looses its rythm, in the middle of my chest ).

I just wonder what could I do, or if this remedies could be worth to try ( I am buying tomorrow some Lemon Balm ).

Hi there,

I am a 3rd year biomed student form aberdeen university, I am curretnly writting an essay on cardiac arrhytmias and am interested in conparing pharmaceutical calcium channel blockers and natural calcium channel blockers and was wondering if you had any good references for evidence of natural ca blockers?
