Chocolate is one of the most amazing and delicious foods I know, and as a true chocolate lover I’ll never stop writing about numerous benefits of consuming this divine dessert. Within this extensive study, the specialists from the University of Cambridge reviewed 7 large previous studies that resulted in finding the most important and powerful health benefits of dark chocolate. At that, 5 studies confirmed strong connections between a regular chocolate consumption and excellent heart health. Then, the researchers analyzed the information on about 100,000 people, both with and without heart disease, in order to compare the effects daily chocolate consumption may have on people who are just at risks of having heart disease or already suffer from serious heart problems.
For every single case, the info on the group with heart disease and without heart disease were compared. The findings were quite surprising for the scientists themselves, says Dr. Oscar Franco from the study group. “Highest levels of chocolate consumption were associated with a 37 per cent reduction in cardiovascular disease and a 29 per cent reduction in stroke compared with lowest levels,” the health news reviewers from the Daily Mail report. It is said that further studies will show the main influencing factors and how exactly eating chocolate can help improve our heart health to such a great extent.

If you want to harvest the mentioned and all other benefits of chocolate, do not spare your money for buying high quality chocolate – it’s worth it, really! Eat just 30 g a day.
